A downloadable zine

A 16 page zine about the life cycle of fairies, following them from infancy to old age.

When do fairies learn to fly? What does a baby eat?  How do older fairies spend their time? Inspired by Gail Carson Levine's Disney Fairies, Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black's The Spiderwick Chronicles, Cicely Mary Barker's The Flower Fairies, and many more stories from my childhood, this zine explores the lives of a unique community of fairies.

Text is written in cursive, and the images are drawn in black ink.

There are two ways to enjoy this zine! First, you can view it digitally with the pages arranged in spreads. By downloading the printable option, however, you can print the pages onto A4 paper to enjoy in the physical world!

Print the zine double-sided (flip on short edge), fold each page in half, and insert the leaves (folded pages) into each other to create the 16 page booklet. The zine can remain unbound, or you can secure it by stapling or sewing the leaves together. Printing will take 4 sheets of paper, double-sided, using black ink only.
